The product is formulated with a high content of natural bacteria and enzymes specifically designed to activate newly installed septic tanks or accelerate the health of systems after being pumped.

Jump Start is a specialized product designed to enhance the well-being of septic tanks after pumping, or to get new installations going. Its purpose is to prevent issues such as clogging, sewage backups and unpleasant odors that may arise after septic pumping. This product is effective in reducing the accumulation of organic sludge, grease buildup and slime layers beneath drainfields, according to the manufacturer.

For optimal results, the recommended dosage for septic tanks is 1 pound (two scoops) of Jump Start per 500 gallons of tank capacity, applied directly into the tank, after each pumpout. Similarly, for cesspools, a dosage of 2 pounds (four scoops) of Jump Start is recommended per 500 gallons of tank capacity after each pumpout.
